Swift set up her business in 2016 in response to her fear of public speaking. Love Public Speaking (LPS) aims to help others build confidence in public speaking, and even enjoy the experience. She differentiated the business from competitors by pioneering a series of courses on innovative topics, including how to speak up as an introvert, how to have difficult conversations and how to ask for a pay rise. The pandemic wiped out the business’ revenues overnight but Swift successfully led the business through a pivot to online communications skills, and is now looking to franchise the business, training others to become presentation skills coaches.
